On Wednesday, March 4th, seven students from Virginia Middle School participated in the Regional KidWind Competition held in Blacksburg, Virginia. The KidWind Challenge is a prestigious event where students design and test small-scale wind turbines and solar devices, showcasing their knowledge and skills in clean energy technologies.
After a rigorous day of competition, the team known as The Whirlwind Wonders earned recognition for their outstanding achievement, receiving the award for Best Blade Design in the Wind Design Competition.
Congratulations to the team members, coaches, and local supporters for their invaluable contributions in representing VMS at this event. We eagerly anticipate next year's competition!
