On the evening of September 19th, the First Lady of Virginia Suzanne S. Youngkin and award-winning social psychologist, author, and researcher Dr. Jonathan Haidt will convene a fireside chat to discuss the findings of Haidt’s book The Anxious Generation and how it informs our communities/schools in limiting social media and phone use to help restore childhood and play.
Viewing Information
Bristol Virginia Public Schools will be hosting a community viewing event at Virginia Intermediate School from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. This event is open to community members as well as parents, guardians, and other family members of Bristol Virginia Public Schools students.
