Our Goal

The mission of Virginia Middle School’s counseling program is to provide each student with the individualized resources necessary to promote social and personal growth, academic success, and career development through a comprehensive program that partners with teachers, parents and the community.

Who We Are

Jamie Moser is a professional school counselor who believes deeply in the power of comprehensive developmental school counseling programs. This is Ms. Moser's fourth year at Virginia Middle School. She has been a school counselor for 16 years and worked in all levels, elementary, middle, and high school. 

Emily Christian is a Behavior Intervention Specialist working within the School Counseling Department. She is instrumental in coordinating our Career Cafes and assists students with academic and personal/social needs as well. This is her third year at Virginia Middle School.

• Collaboration with school departments and/or outside agencies relating to school success.
